Kits to help teachers.

An effective way to teach science is to provide students with hands-on experience. Students often have difficulty grasping scientific concepts by reading textbooks or hearing lectures, but they easily understand the concepts when they work physically with materials to test ideas. 

Unfortunately, teachers do not have much time to put together many hands-on projects. Besides coming up with the ideas, they must test them to make sure they work, gather needed materials, prepare the materials, and then figure out a method of presentation to get the most out of the project.  

In addition, teachers must keep in mind Hawaii’s Grade Level Performance Standards to meet state requirements for science. 

Kids Invent has years of experience providing science classes at public and private schools with hands-on activities that coincide with the standards. Our invention activities excite students but still focus on concepts of science. Our aim is to get students to think that science is fun, because if they enjoy it, they will be eager to learn.
